Road Racer’s Adventures: BMCRC-MRO Championships, Snetterton

The almost seventy years old Snetterton race circuit, was the host for round two of this year’s BMCRC (British Motorcycle Racing Club)-MRO Championships series.

Fresh from making his pure road racing debut at the Oliver’s Mount Spring Cup, 961 plate holder Jack sim took no less than six race wins, having taken respective Thunderbike Extreme, Thunderbike Sport hat-tricks.

Team Obsession Engineering regular Martin Morris 18th fastest racer at the Spring Cup, accumulated a collection of solid results.

The same notion applied to former TT Races, North West 200 exponent Steve Heneghan and Gorila Racing’s Craig Howton.

Meanwhile East Yorkshireman Richie Welsh, underlined again his 400 machinery credentials with a quadruple of Formula 400 class triumphs.

Welsh like the aforementioned Morris, had an impressive Spring Cup consistently contending for top five finishes or better in the keenly contested Ultra Lightweight class.
