2025 BMCRC (British Motorcycle Racing Club)-MRO ‘Bemsee’ racing explorations for 2025, kick started over the past weekend in Kent at Brands Hatch (Indy circuit configuration).
Notable roads scenes in attendance included eight times World Champion, 2013 Sidecar TT race one winner Tim Reeves, Mark Wilkes, twice TT rostrum finisher Greg Lambert (F2 Sidecars race three winner alongside Andy Javens) and 2024 Barry Sheene Trophy victor Don Gilbert.
Former TT racer Jason Burrill, Oliver’s Mount Scarborough experienced Daniel North (Thunderbike 500 races winner x2), 2022 Steve Henshaw Gold Cup, Supersport B races one & two winner, Joey Lambden were also competing.
Lambden, contesting the DART MRO 600 races, astride 636 Kawasaki metal, collected a brace of race triumphs alongside finishing runner-up in the opening Middleweight category contest, finishing only 0.293 behind Matt Pallett.
The next BMCRC-MRO round takes place early next month, with Oulton Park (first meeting ran in 1953) hosting activities.
