Radio Coverage As You Know It, But With A Different Twist For TT 2019

Prime time radio coverage will once again be available for race fans on Manx shores, and worldwide to enjoy at TT 2019, but in contrast to recent years, the coverage has a different feel about it.

Synonymous with TT aficionados across the globe, Manx Radio are for TT 2019, not officially recognised as the radio partner for the world’s most famous roads meeting.

Radio coverage for TT 2019, will run under the Isle of Man TT Radio Fuelled by Monster Energy banner.

Although Manx Radio has no recognised involvement, many of the company’s popular presenters are all set to this month be back on reporting duty.

Tim Glover remains lead commentator for race week, whilst practice week coverage will be headed by Chris Boyde, known to many for anchoring the post race press conferences.

Rallying expert Boyde is also set to host during TT 2019, brand new shows titled Attention Paddock and Parc Ferme, which respectively will provide more in depth coverage into competition on the fabled, mythical Mountain Course.

Chris Kinley will once again be reporting in the pit lane, on the starting grid during race day’s, plus will link up again with two stroke class legend, multi TT champ Chris Palmer to provide live up to date news, during the solo qualifying sessions.

The hugely respected Kinley for the Sidecar qualifying sessions, links up with new radio team member, three times TT winner Patrick Farrance.

TT commentating veteran Roy Moore leads the coverage from Ramsey Hairpin, during race week, whilst coverage from Glen Helen is again fronted by Dave Christian.

Alongside the aforementioned commentators, reporters, additional presenters set to grace the Isle of Man TT Radio Fuelled by Monster Energy, are Simon Quine, Ben Hartley, Marc Tyley, Chris Williams and Bob Harrison.
