Accomplished IRRC Supersport competitor Christian Schmitz, is planning to make his Ulster Grand Prix debut.
His mount for his prospective first outing at the world’s fastest road race, is the Laserscanning Europe Road Racing Team YZF R6 Yamaha.
Christian’s 2017 roads season thus far, has been an extremely productive one, with series of top draw results recorded.

The opening IRRC round of 2017, at Hengelo in the Netherlands, yielded him ninth and eighth place finishes, to place him solidly within the current top ten of the Supersport championship standings.
Next up for the German racer was the prestigious 300 Curves of Gustav Havel meeting, at Horice, in the Czech Republic.
Holding an early race lead, in the 600 encounter, he went onto finish a fantastic second, to underline why he is regarded amongst Germany’s leading rising roads stars.
It’s good to see another high level IRRC competitor, planning to venture into international roads competition, at an event, which is regarded by many as the current leading pure road race, worldwide, the MCE Insurance Ulster Grand Prix.
