Pre TT Classic Incident Rules Triple Manx GP Winner Evans Out Of Remainder Of TT 2019

Triple Manx GP winner Michael Evans, latest TT tenure has unfortunately come to an early close, having sustained a broken collarbone following a nasty high side in yesterday’s Post Classic Superbike race, at the Blackford Financial Services Pre TT Classic Road Races.

11th quickest in front of the likes of Ian Hutchinson, John McGuinness and David Johnson in Sunday’s Supersport TT practice session, rising local star, Wilcock Consulting supported Evans was widely tipped as a dark horse for top ten finishes at minimum during TT 2019 race week.

Obviously ultra disappointed at missing the remainder of TT 2019 competition, the Manx GP lap record holder stated yesterday via his Facebook page:

“Unfortunately had a crash at the Pre TT races today and I’ve broken my collarbone, which means no TT for me.

Gutted doesn’t even come close to how I feel at the moment, as I’ve worked so hard this season to be ready for TT. Thanks to all the people who make it happen. I’ll be back stronger and faster.”
