Following on from an impressive TT 2017 campaign, Radcliffe’s Racing’s Jamie Coward made it a memorable day at Billown for event sponsors Radcliffe Butchers, as the Hebden Bridge based rider, recorded feature race success, for Chris Lennon’s outfit.
Holding off strong challenges from Supersport/Super Twin race winner James Cowton and William Dunlop, on the Temple Golf Club Limited backed YZF R1M Yamaha, the TT Privateers Championship runner up, showcased today, why he is regarded amongst pure road racing’s fastest rising talents.
Added riders to impress, at the traditional curtain raiser of each TT festival, included Billown debutants Joe Thompson and Darren Cooper, Stoddart Racing’s Robert Wilson and Anthony Redmond.
Plus Super Twins runner up Dave Moffitt, Jonathan Perry, Dean Osborne, Mark Goodings, Jamie Williams and Martin Bullock Manxsport’s Dave Quine.
