There was many a positive moment at the 2015 Vauxhall International North West 200 for Dan Kneen.
The meeting marked Dan’s opening pure road race action of 2015 plus his first outing on the roads with the Valvoline Racing by Padgetts Motorcycles team.
Opening supersport race saw Dan show his quality around the triangle as he battled with the likes of John McGuinness, Conor Cummins, Keith Amor for top six placing.
Dan was set for a top six finish when reliability issues struck, despite this Dan was delighted with the performance of Valvoline Racing by Padgetts Motorcycles CBR 600 Honda.
Reliability issues struck again in second supersport and opening superbike races.
From a positive side of things though the reigning Irish road race superbike champion looks to have gelled quickly with Padgetts Racing’s high spec Honda’s which does well for TT 2015.
Second superstock race would see Dan finally finish a race as he finished a highly creditable 11th following a highly accomplished display on Valvoline Racing by Padgetts Motorcycles CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade.
