Plum Pudding Races – Mallory Park’s Boxing Day Bonanza

Nearing fifty years running, the Plum Pudding Races are Mallory Park’s ‘Boxing Day Bonanza’ equivalent to New Zealand’s Cemetery Circuit Races.

Over the years various racers from diverse racing backgrounds, have tackled the meet at the ex British Superbike Championship venue.

Three years ago, the star of the show was one of pure road racing’s paddock favourites, Dundrod 150 race winner Lincolnshire’s David ‘Action’ Jackson.

Whilst competitors boasting roads experience weren’t in attendance today at Mallory, the racing was still enterprising, as witnessed by the One Nine Four Six Marshals Association, that were hard at work.

Racers to enjoy top quality results this morning, afternoon piloting yesteryear, 600cc, Super Twin, Superstock spec machines included winners Lee Brocklebank and Aaron Stainforth plus Antony Lewis, Dan Hanby and Wayne Bridges.
