The Penz 13.com BMW team enjoyed a tremendous 2014 Frohburg road races. Following qualifying Michael Dunlop lined up third on the grid for opening open race and following a frantic start the 11 times TT winner quickly slotted into third position by the mid way point of the eight lap race.
But then electrical issues struck forcing Michael out of the race whilst Dan Kruger making his debut around Frohburg impressed hugely securing sixth place finish. First IRRC superbike race of the weekend saw Michael Dunlop push Didier Grams and Johan Fredriks all the way as he recorded third place finish as Dan Kruger acquired top ten placing.

Second international road racing championship superbike race was next on the horizon and Dan Kruger continued to chip away on his debut at the popular road race in Germany as he achieved highly creditable ninth place finish.
Final race of the meeting for Penz 13.com BMW team was the second open race and it proved to be a highly momentous one. Michael Dunlop secured race victory following a scintillating performance from the fastest rider in TT history from a standing start, plus Michael broke the Frohburg road races lap record lapping under the 1 minute 34.5 seconds bracket.

Dan Kruger was a great sixth to complete his debut around Frohburg in top style. Overall an excellent two days racing for Penz 13.com BMW team who’s next road race coming up is the Macau Grand Prix.
