When looking through results from recent times at Frohburger Dreieck, you can’t help but notice Paton’s dominance of the Super Twins class.
As at the TT Races, North West 200, Ulster Grand Prix, Southern 100 and Oliver’s Mount, Paton’s fabled S1-R steed has proven since 2015 formidable around the fast, flowing roads of Frohburg.
The four quickest twin class exponents at the venue which traditionally hosts the final round of the IRRC series, are all Paton mounted. They are as follows:
Reigning Newcomers A Manx GP winner Pierre Yves Bian (1.44.015), Italian stars Andrea Majola (1.45.112) & Stefano Bonetti (1.45.178) and fellow countryman Marco Dallaglio (1.47.501).

Combined Yves Bian, Majola, Bonetti, Dallaglio have provided the iconic Paton brand which was first founded in 1958 by Giuseppe Pattoni and Lino Tonti, with eight victories from the past ten Super Twin races at Frohburg.
The only interloper in Paton’s dominance has been Banbridge’s Shaun Anderson and the Kramer Super Mono mount, who powered to back to back Twin race successes in 2016.
