ON1 Racing Macau GP Bound With Improving Guia Circuit Exponent McCormack

Yet another racer confirmed to pilot in November S1000RR BMW machinery, improving Guia Circuit exponent Brian McCormack will lead ON1 Racing’s maiden Macau Grand Prix challenge.

A Macau GP debutant in 2013, Waterford’s McCormack has in recent years established himself as one of Ireland’s leading International Road Racers.

Three times a top 12 finisher at TT 2019, the blue riband Dunlop Senior race saw the former open class winner at Faugheen lap close to the 129 mph lap mark, on route to an excellent ninth place finish in front of star names such as Gary Johnson and Derek Sheils.

Looking back on the FonaCAB Ulster Grand Prix, main highlights for McCormack included three top 10 finishes, an eighth place finish within the final Superbike race and lapping just a shade under the illustrious 130 mph lap mark.

Whilst perhaps not regarded in the same ilk as many of his fellow Macau bound racers, ON1 Racing’s McCormack shouldn’t be underestimated and it wouldn’t at all be a surprise to various road racing aficionados, if next month sees him in contention for at least a top six placing.
