Q1: First memory of Oliver’s Mount?
“Racing the British super moto championship in the early noughties and couldn’t help but admire the main circuit and hoped one day I would race on that! 20-ish years later that came true!”
Q2: Favourite part about racing at the mount?
“My favourite part about racing at the mount is the fantastic atmosphere amongst the paddock, meeting many of my now friends there. But I also can’t not mention or admire the genuine beauty of the track itself and the scenery that surrounds it.”
Q3: Favourite section of Scarborough course?
“My favourite section of the course has to be going up Sheene’s rise and into the top esses. It flows so smoothly and makes it enjoyable.”
Q4: Best moment thus far at Scarborough?
“My best moment has to be breaking the sub 2 minute time on my CBR600 (Honda), which was a personal goal for me.”
Q5: All time Scarborough racing hero?
“My all time Scarborough racing hero is probably David Jefferies because he either went big or went home which goes a long way in this sport!”
Q6: Is there one machine in particular that you would like to race at Scarborough?
“I would definitely like to race a Yamaha YZR500 GP bike around Oliver’s Mount. That would be an amazing experience over Jeffries jumps!”
Q7: One word to describe Oliver’s Mount?
“Magical!”
Q8: Most respected racing rival at Scarborough?
“My most respected racing rival at Scarborough would have to be either Jamie Ingham or Jack Worth, as we always seem to end up having good battles.”
