The returning Classic TT Races (20th-29th August), will showcase, celebrate Joey Dunlop’s blockbuster 2000 TT campaign, when the Ballymoney racing icon sealed his twenty fourth, twenty fifth, twenty sixth TT victories.
Particularly focus is centred on the Formula 1 race success from 2000, when he rolled back the years and proved the impossible was possible.
Marking 25 years since his final big-bike TT triumph, on the 29th of August, a demonstration parade lap will take place with Joey’s nephew, TT wins record holder Michael Dunlop, aboard a duplicate replica of the synonymous to roads scene superfans red, black liveried works VTR SP1 Honda.
Aside from this, organisers have stated that an exhibition display (free to attend) is expected, with helmets, leathers as worn by the 63 times international road race winner plus trophies won by ‘Yer Maun’.

A live TT-Podcast featuring 2000 F1 TT commentators, third, second place finishers, John McGuinness MBE and Michael Rutter, members of Joey’s family.
Moving pictures, cinema set-up, detailing Joey’s magic TT moments, including of course the 2000 F1 TT!
