Supersport B Race 2 winner from the 2016 Scarborough Gold Cup, prominent next generation Manx road racer Jamie Williams is the next racer to take part in Road Racing News widely acclaimed, Oliver’s Mount Top 8 series.

Third within the Junior Manx Grand Prix of 2017, his answers to the Scarborough themed set of questions are as follows:

Q1: First memory of Oliver’s Mount?

“2015 Gold Cup which was also my first ever race meeting there!”

Q2: Favourite part about racing at the mount?

“The atmosphere around the paddock, mega circuit with shoulder to shoulder racing.”

Q3: Favourite section of Scarborough course?

“I love the section from the cafe around to Mountside Hairpin.”

Q4: Best moment thus far at Scarborough?

“I’ve really enjoyed every meeting I have attended at scarborough! I really don’t think I have any particular best moment! It’s always good fun and proper racing.”

Q5: All time Scarborough racing hero?

“Got to be the man himself Chris Palmer!”

Q6: Is there one machine in particular that you would like to race at Scarborough?

“I would really like to head back to the mount with the BMW, never had the opportunity to race a big bike around there! So fingers crossed that will change in 2020!”

Q7: One word to describe Oliver’s Mount?

“Crackers”

Q8: Most respected racing rival at Scarborough?

“Going off the last time I raced there, It will be Wayne Humble or Dave Mac (David McConnachy).”
