Eighth within last year’s Junior, Senior Manx GP races, amongst the race victors during the 2023 Cock O’The North meeting, his answers to the set of questions, are as follows:
Q1: First memory of Oliver’s Mount?
“Reading about it in one of Stephen Davison’s books, thought the jumps looked mint.”
Q2: Favourite part about racing at the mount?
“Lots of tight racing, lots of local experts round there that are really fast, so it definitely keeps you on your toes.”
Q3: Favourite section of Scarborough course?
“The jumps, some craic.”
Q4: Best moment thus far at Scarborough?
“Had a great race with Jay (Bellers) Smith passing each other loads, passed him on the outside over Jefferies Jumps, we did some laughing after that.”
Q5: All time Scarborough racing hero?
“Roddy Taylor!”
Q6: Is there one machine in particular that you would like to race at Scarborough?
“Yamaha TZ 250”
Q7: One word to describe Oliver’s Mount?
“Very far from where I live!”
Q8: Most respected racing rival at Scarborough?
“Roddy Taylor because he’s the same age as my grandad and hit a deer while racing and came out on top.”
