A podium finisher this year at the Southern 100, his answers to the Scarborough themed set of questions are as follows:

“The atmosphere, you go from having a laugh and a joke with other racers, to having a great close battle during the race, then back to having a laugh again, what it’s all about.”

Q3: Favourite section of Scarborough course?

“I can’t say I have a particular favourite section, the whole course is awesome fun especially during a good battle but the memorial section does seem to be a strong point for me.”

Q4: Best moment thus far at Scarborough?

“For me personally the Cock O’The North from 2017, qualifying 2nd on the grid for the 600 B races and swapping and changing positions throughout the races battling for the lead, going onto finish 2nd in both races.”

Q5: All time Scarborough racing hero?

“Would have to be David Jefferies, he made the Mount look effortless.”

Q6: Is there one machine in particular that you would like to race at Scarborough?

“I would love to have ago on a Sidecar round Oliver’s mount, looks a bit gnarly.”

Q7: One word to describe Oliver’s Mount?

“Old school”
