Aiming to pick up from where he left off at Scarborough at the Barry Sheene Classic, eight times International Road Race winner Lee Johnston is amongst the latest confirmed entrants for the 68th Gold Cup meeting.
Winner of all three feature Supersport races in July’s Barry Sheene Classic, Johnston will be back in action this month on Scarborough shores on the Ashcourt Racing YZF R6 Yamaha, that has served him so well throughout 2019.
Alongside his aforementioned middleweight class successes at the ‘Mount’, the happy go lucky, always cheerful Johnston has this year joined the TT winners circle, finished runner-up in all three Supersport races at the Ulster GP.
