Oliver’s Mount Specialists Verify Barry Sheene Classic Presence

As anticipation continues to build for the Barry Sheene Classic, more established Oliver’s Mount specialists have verified their intention to tackle the three day meeting.

Runner-up to Lee Johnston in last September’s Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup, Manchester’s Mike Norbury is ultra looking forward to venturing back to Scarborough.

Norbury competing this year under the DC Racing banner, is set to pilot next month like Cowton Racing’s Dominic Herbertson, ZX6R Kawasaki machinery.

Added ones to watch will include 2019 Newcomers C Manx GP winner Andrew Jackson of the Falcon Road Racing fold, 2015 Lightweight MGP victor Mark Purslow.

Southern 100 winner Richard Charlton, Welsh roads favourite Rhys Hardisty and renowned 125/250/Moto 3 exponents Ian Stanford and John Chapman Racing backed Justin Waring.

In addition to the aforementioned racers, competitors hoping to next month make their Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough debuts include Obsession Engineering supported Martin Morris.

Expect overall a great mix of seasoned ‘Mini TT’ pilots, rising International roads stars, prominent yesteryear class racers and various ambitious newcomers Scarborough bound next month, as UK roads competition returns from the 14th-16th August.
