NW200: Qualifying/Races Timetable

Attentions within the world of road racing transcend this week upon the FonaCAB & Nicholl Oils North West 200.

Racers set to gain tomorrow morning their first timed laps around the ‘Triangle’ include double IRRC Supersport Champion Matthieu Lagrive, Leon Jeacock, Liam Chawke, 2022 Macau GP runner-up David Datzer.

Plus, JMcC Roofing Racing’s Cory West, Don Gilbert and ex professional skier Gerald Dath.

International road racing super heroes aiming for productive race week openings include wins record holder Alastair Seeley, six times successive Superbike winner Glenn Irwin and FHO Racing’s all-star pairing of Peter Hickman & Josh Brookes.

A full run-down of the present qualifying/racing itinerary for this year’s NW200, reads as follows:

9th May:

Roads close 09:15 – 3:15 PM

09:45 AM – Newcomers practice
10:30 AM – Supersport first qualifying
11:30 AM – Superbike first qualifying
12:30 PM – Super Twins first qualifying
1:30 PM – Superstock first qualifying

11th May:

Roads close 09:15 – 3:15 PM

09:45 AM – Super Twins second qualifying
10:45 AM – Superstock second qualifying
11:45 AM – Supersport second qualifying
12:45 PM – Superbike second qualifying

Roads re-close for racing from 5:00-9:00 PM

5:45 PM – Supersport Race 1 – 6 Laps
6:30 PM – Superstock Race 1 – 6 Laps
7:15 PM – Super Twins Race 1 – 4 Laps

13th May:

Roads close 09:15 – 7:00 PM

Race Order

Supersport Race 2 – 6 Laps
Superbike Race 1 – 6 Laps
Super Twins Race 2 – 4 Laps
Superstock Race 2 – 6 Laps
NW200 Superbike Race – 6 Laps
