Following on from the news regarding Jeremy McWilliams, Wilson Craig Racing’s 2023 FonaCAB & Nicholl Oils North West 200 tenure also sees them joining forces with former Classic TT winner, podcast host, fans favourite Dominic Herbertson.
Supersport winner times three at the Oliver’s Mount Bob Smith Spring Cup, Herbertson has CBR 1000RR Honda machinery at his disposal for the Superbike, Superstock NW200 races.
Speaking about this, the ever-ebullient racer stated:
“It is great to be back at the North West 200 especially after the possibility of losing racing in this fantastic part of the world.
At the beginning of this week, I was in full acceptance that I would not be able to make this years’ event due to mechanical issues with the GBS Racing BMW.
But a phone call to offer a ride for the North West 200, from a team steeped in road racing history like Wilson Craig Racing, I could not say no.
I am very much looking forward to working with the Wilson Craig Team over the coming week.”
Wilson Craig Racing Team Owner, Darren Gilpin added:
“We are extremely excited to welcome Dominic into the team for this years’ North West 200.
He is no stranger to road racing as is regarded as one of the most popular riders in the paddock.
He will have the use of our CBR1000RR Stock Honda for the Superstock and Superbike races, and it is a partnership we are all looking forward to.”
