Three times event winner Davey Todd is confident of challenging for 1000cc race honours at this year’s Briggs Equipment Northwest 200, which will mark his maiden roads outing with the TAS Racing ran Milwaukee BMW team.
2019 IRRC Superbike Champion, 2022 Duke Road Race Rankings Champion & Southern 100 Solo Championship, Armoy ‘Race of Legends’ winner, there’s no doubting Todd’s talent, ability, application.
Candidly speaking about his latest, upcoming NW200 expedition, he stated:
“We now arrive at the NW200 as a strong team on M1000RR BMW’s. I’ve seen first-hand the success of both the team and the M1000RR on the roads, so it’s my plan to be part of that success story, and no better place than in front of the Irish fans at the NW200.
It’s a great event with big atmosphere, and speed, on those straights into Coleraine and Portrush. The Milwaukee BMWs will be just the job.”
TAS Racing Team Manager Phillip Neill, added:
“To achieve 30 victories around the Northwest Triangle with a selection of fantastic riders is a dream come true for both my father and me. We now look forward to trying to add to that number this year on a range of Milwaukee BMW machinery.
On reaching this landmark, we are more aware than ever of the importance of a great team, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank every one of our team members and sponsors who have quite simply made this success possible.
Davey is an exciting prospect for us with already proven capabilities and we look forward to working with him this year together with continued support from Milwaukee and BMW Motorrad.”
