North West 200 – Tyco BMW’s Alastair Seeley Nails Pole Position

Alastair Seeley is on pole position for superbike races at the 2015 Vauxhall International North West 200 having nailed a pulsating lap time in qualifying today.

Tyco BMW rider Alastair secured lap time of 4 minutes 25.664 seconds as he proved once again why he is considered by many as the current leading exponent around the triangle.

Lee Johnston was highly impressive in finishing second quickest as the East Coast Racing rider proved why he’s in the running for superbike success at this years North West.

Honda Racing’s John McGuinness finished an excellent third fastest, the 21 times TT winner is brimming with confidence going into superbike races on Saturday.

Bruce Anstey is delighted with the performance of Valvoline Racing by Padgetts Motorcycles CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade, the nine times TT winner finished fourth quickest in superbike qualifying session.

William Dunlop went through the pain barrier to finish a superb fifth fastest in front of Penz Bathams by BMW Motorrad’s Michael Rutter.

Michael Dunlop continues to chip away with the new R1M Yamaha superbike, he showed once again his undoubted quality in finishing seventh fastest.

Dean Harrison competing on Mar Train Racing R1M Yamaha sealed eighth quickest time as Conor Cummins finished a highly respectable ninth fastest.

Rounding out the top ten was Martin Jessopp competing on Riders Motorcycles backed S1000RR BMW.
