North West 200 – Alastair Seeley Continues Dominant Triangle Form

Alastair Seeley continued his dominance of the 2015 Vauxhall International North West 200 by going fastest in superstock qualifying session.

Tyco BMW rider Alastair set lap speed of 120.196 to finish over 0.7 clear of his nearest pursuer Michael Dunlop.

Michael competing on his own teams YZF R1M Yamaha showed his world class quality in finishing second quickest.

Lee Johnston dazzled in finishing third fastest on East Coast Racing’s S1000RR BMW. Two time international road race winner Lee is confident of battling for superstock race victory tonight.

Martin Jessopp competing on Riders Motorcycles backed S1000RR BMW sealed fourth quickest time in qualifying whilst Dean Harrison showed good pace on Mar Train Racing’s R1M Yamaha in finishing sixth fastest.

North West 200 superstock lap record holder Horst Saiger was once again hugely impressive around the triangle as he finished leading Kawasaki mounted rider in fifth.

William Dunlop was a highly creditable seventh quickest as Tyco BMW team mate Guy Martin was eighth in qualifying.

Penz Bathams by BMW Motorrad’s Michael Rutter finished ninth fastest whilst Bruce Anstey rounded out the top ten on Valvoline racing by Padgetts motorcycles CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade.
