Bolstering an already impressive entry list which includes TT lap record holder Peter Hickman and Horst Saiger, three of New Zealand’s foremost closed roads competitors will return to Wanganui on Boxing Day, for the growing in popularity Cemetery Circuit Races.
Sidelined through a hand injury last year, event legend Tony Rees is set to make a popular return to Cemetery Circuit competition, as he bids to add more rostrum finishes, race wins to his already golden meeting CV aboard his own teams Honda.
Fellow countryman Sloan ‘Chopper’ Frost, Suzuki Series champion in 2013, like veteran Rees is quietly confident of contending for standout results on Boxing Day.
The amiable Frost also expects though competition of the highest quality, including from reigning Robert Holden Memorial Feature race champion, Scott Moir.

Taupo’s Moir, who will pilot again GSX-R 1000 Suzuki machinery, last year at Wanganui proved formidable, keeping at bay the challenges of Jay Lawrence, Shane Richardson and next generation roads star Daniel Mettam.
Extremely capable of retaining the Robert Holden Memorial Feature race crown, it’s going to take a truly top, top draw performance to take the prestigious crown away from him, on Boxing Day.
