By The fastest Supersport racers of all time at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough, Lee Johnston and Dean Harrison look set for more gripping battles in May with both set to compete at the returning Spring Cup.
Last September Johnston, Harrison produced one of the all time great Scarborough races, as the good friends took Supersport competition to another level at England’s only active real roads circuit, breaking the existing class lap record between on no less than 13 occasions!
Same as in 2020, the four times TT winners combined are set to pilot respectively YZF R6 Yamaha, ZX6R Kawasaki machinery during the Spring Cup, there is one major change though for outright Scarborough lap record holder Harrison.
In contrast to last year, the current Senior TT Champion will return to competing in Silicone Engineering Racing colours.
Will he retain the Bob Smith Spring Cup crown? We will know this month as the UK roads season for 2021 gets underway in just under 20 days time.
