Moore Finishes Runner-Up In National 250cc Championship

Manx GP winner, Classic TT podium finisher Chris Moore has secured the runner-up spot in the 2020 Dunlop 250 GP ACU National Championship.

The final rounds of the Championship taking place at the NG Road Racing Castle Coombe meeting, saw RC Express Racing supported Moore secure creditable seventh, fifth place finishes.

Just over forty points behind Championship victor Phil Atkinson, the series runner-up finish is another prominent feat for two stroke racing specialist Moore, who’s shown consistently strong form throughout 2020.

Alongside productive national 250 race stints, TZ 250 Yamaha machinery regular Moore has impressed many with his pace, application, race craft around Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough.

Amongst the leading Scarborough newcomers at the Barry Sheene Classic, this month’s 69th Gold Cup meeting would see him place no lower than third in the 2&4 Stroke races.

Such was his consistency that come the completion of two days of pulsating race action, he finished overall winner of the 2&4 Stroke category.

Most definitely one to watch at future Scarborough meetings, he’s one of those racers that is respected throughout the top end, bottom end, middle part of short circuit, road race paddocks.
