By Monday night’s Manx GP practice session has been cancelled, due to persistent inclement weather embarking upon the fabled, mythical Mountain Course.
Having experienced today’s weather first hand, I’m not surprised in the slightest of the aforementioned decision from event organisers.
In addition to this afternoon’s evening practice cancellation announcement, it’s also been disclosed that two practice sessions will now take place on Wednesday.
The proposed competition schedule for tomorrow and Wednesday, reads as follows:
23rd August:
6:00 PM – Roads close
6:20 PM – Senior/Classic Superbike practice
7:10 PM – Lightweight/Junior/Classic Senior practice
9:00 PM – Roads re-open
24th August:
12:30 PM – Roads close
1:30 PM – Senior/Classic Superbike practice
2:45 PM – Lightweight/Junior/Classic Senior practice
4:30 PM – Roads re-open
6:00 PM – Roads close
6:20 PM – Senior/Classic Superbike practice
7:10 PM – Lightweight/Junior/Classic Senior practice
9:00 PM – Roads re-open
