An evenly contested opening Junior Manx GP practice session, concluded with former Newcomers race winner Chris Moore emerging quickest.
Kick-starting his latest MGP venture in tumultuous style, Moore piloting the extremely rapid Dafabet Racing Kawasaki, powered to a best lap speed of 112.778 mph (time wise – 20 minutes 04.380 seconds).
Second quickest, just shy of seven seconds behind Moore’s times sheet topping speed was new KTS Racing team member Jamie Williams (112.128).
Number one plate holder Francesco Curinga (111.763) was below four seconds in arrears to Williams whilst Castings Technology backed Dan Ingham (110.841) finished fifth fastest.
All of this afternoon’s ten quickest Junior Super Twins pilots recorded lap speeds, exceeding 105 mph.
