25 times TT winners combined Dave Molyneux/Dan Sayle, took their first race wins on Sunday with 890 KTM power at a sun drenched Jurby.
Molyneux/Sayle who’s outfit now sports the traditional bright orange livery, forever associated with KTM, showed all of their finely honed race craft, calibre, pedigree around the Jurby Airfield circuit in clockwise configuration.
The opening six lap Sidecar Centre Championship race saw the Mountain Course maestros storm to victory, enjoying a 10.7 second plus race winning advantage over fellow TT competitors Craig Melvin/Stuart Christian.
Following three wheeling action would see them take the honours by six seconds plus, along the way setting a best lap time of 1 minute 11.360 seconds.
Aiming to get ahead of the pack for TT 2022 with new regulations implemented, allowing 900cc powered steeds Molyneux/Sayle’s KTM outfit already looks a handy machine and whilst still early into it’s development, component race tenures at Jurby provide more positives than negatives for the enterprising project.
