The combination of Michael Rutter and Ripley Land Racing’s G50 Seeley, is confirmed to return for a third successive Classic TT.
Close in 2015, to securing race victory, before mechanical gremlins struck, the five times TT winner, is confident he has the machinery, to contend for a seventh Mountain Course victory.
One of the main aims for Ian Garbutt’s team, is for a 110 mph lap, which would make their G50 Seeley, the first single cylinder machine, to surpass this lap speed mark, on the Mountain Course.

In recent years, it’s been the Paton’s and Black Eagle MV Agusta’s that have been the pace setters, within the Senior Classic TT class.
It’s going to be in my opinion, a tough ask for the Ripley Land outfit to contend for race honours in August.
Don’t discount them though from running the equalling great sounding Italian mounts, close in the four lap race.
In particular given, that their rider Michael Rutter, is enjoying arguably his best international roads campaign, for multiple seasons, wrapping us thus far in 2017, five international road race podium finishes.
