2009 Senior Manx GP winner, Michael Russell has recently confirmed his mounts, for the 2017 Classic TT Races.
As in 2016, his steed for the Senior race, is Izzard Racing’s Manx Norton, whilst the Superbike class sees him reunited with Bragg Creek Powersports RC30 Honda.
It’s fair to say TT 2017, was a tough one for the seasoned Mountain Course exponent.
Bad luck a plenty afflicted his race week, he did enjoy though series of good results, on the Club 55 Racing/Chase Timber Products/Tick the Box Solutions backed Kawasaki.
26th in the Royal London 360 Quantum Superstock race, was backed up by a more than creditable 23rd within the blue riband Pokerstars Senior TT.
Looking ahead to the Classic TT, “Jack Russell” stated via his Facebook page:
“After a few days to contemplate and reflect on this years Isle of Man TT races I can confirm I am buzzing for this year’s Classic TT and can’t wait to take on the most demanding circuit in the world aboard two amazing bikes.
So lucky to be in a position to be one of only a few selected to ride this course on iconic machinery, with the Bragg Creek Powersport Honda RC30 and Izzard Racing Manx Norton.”
