15 times TT winner Michael Dunlop will be reunited with 250 machinery in TZ 250 Yamaha form, at the 2017 Classic TT, joining Dan Cooper at Turner Racing.
The Mountain Course lap record holder’s entry into the Lightweight Classic race, is sure to add excitement in spades to the four lap race.
Without a doubt his most famous exploit on 250’s, was at the 2008 North West 200, winning an emotion filled race in front of Christian Elkin and John McGuinness.
Almost ten years on, it’s going to be interesting to see how quickly he re adjusts to two stroke machinery.
As with every race he participates in, he will be giving it 100 percent in pursuit of victory. With this notion in mind, it’s no wonder Turner Racing Team Owner Roger Turner, is confident of top class results.
He recently stated:
“We are very excited about this years Classic TT and are delighted to be working with undoubtedly the best TT rider around at the moment in Michael Dunlop.
Michael has a lot of two-stroke experience and is excited about riding in the Lightweight Race. We are working hard to make sure we put a bike under him capable of winning the race.
With Dan there is a lot of unfinished business after last year’s disappointment, but we have put that bad luck behind us and will be aiming to have two bikes on the podium.”
