Michael Dunlop and the factory backed S1000RR BMW and MD racing’s superstock BMW clicked well in what was a memorable North West 200 for the reigning Duke road race rankings championship champion. The two superstock races saw Michael record 3rd place finish in opening race and then victory in the second race.
First superbike race saw Michael involved with a great battle with brother William for victory, William was victorious over Michael after a classic race. Feature superbike race would see the factory BMW rider secure a brilliant victory after a top performance which saw the rider known nicknamed maverick win his fourth North West 200.
Next race coming up for Michael Dunlop and BMW is the worlds greatest road race the Isle of Man TT. BMW have not won a senior TT since 1939, can seven time TT winner Michael change this? answers will be known on the 6th of June.
