Bruce Anstey made it twelve Ulster GP victories today at the MCE Insurance Ulster Grand Prix, with victory in the opening supersport race.
Piloting the Valvoline Racing by Padgetts Motorcycles CBR 600 Honda, the lap record holder around Dundrod, was holding off the attentions of 14 times TT winner Ian Hutchinson on the Came BPT Yamaha, when the red flags came out on the fourth lap.

Conor Cummins secured the final spot on the podium, just in front of Silicone Engineering Racing’s Dean Harrison, whilst Dan Kneen and William Dunlop fifth and sixth, where also firmly in the mix for a podium finish
Peter Hickman took the TROOPER backed ZX6R Kawasaki to a highly creditable seventh place finish, Derek McGee finished eighth as Christian Elkin produced an accomplished performance on the Bob Wylie Racing 675 Daytona Triumph.
Aberdare Park Road Races Welsh open winner Dan Cooper, finalised the top ten finishers.
Outside of the top ten there was many a impressive ride, which included Robert Wilson 13th, Brian McCormack 14th and Michael Sweeney in 17th place.
TT privateers champion Dan Hegarty, lead the newcomers challenge finishing a more than creditable 16th.
