McAdoo Kawasaki described today their joy, at signing up Michael Dunlop, for Super Twins competition on the roads in 2017, on a brand new Z650 Ninja Kawasaki.
This news means, that the 13 times TT winner is set to return to Lightweight TT fold, for the first time in four years.

His previous experience on 650 machinery, provided positive moments a plenty, including victory in a thrilling race in 2015 at the Cookstown 100, plus finishing runner up in the second Super Twins, at the 2014 Vauxhall International North West 200.
Whilst on the Mountain Course, his current TT PB with a 650 stead, is 15th in the 2012 Lightweight encounter.

The 13 times TT winner’s new stead for the class, which has developed into a firm favourite with race fans a plenty, is set to be prepared by MSS Performance, who have a great affinity with Kawasaki machinery.
Michael Dunlop’s return to McAdoo Kawasaki, also marks an added great opportunity for new team mate, former Duke Road Race Rankings champion James Cowton, who is set to become one of a select group of riders to have worked alongside the TT Races lap record holder.
Part of a statement, issued by McAdoo Kawasaki, who hold strong backing from Gortreagh Printing, stated their excitement, at their high profile new rider line up.
They stated:

Michael’s record of success is sensational and the outright lap record at the TT in 2016 was a mark of his outstanding ability. To have him on board alongside the exciting potential of James Cowton is mouthwatering for the team.”
