Perennial IRRC (International Road Racing Championship) front runner Lukas Maurer, is targeting another successful campaign in Europe’s premier roads series.
Overall third last year, Swiss ace Maurer remains Kawasaki mounted for his latest IRRC Superbike tilt.
Highlights from last season included securing six top three finishes, finishing a close runner-up to Erno Kostamo in the second SBK race at Imatranajo.
In November, Maurer joined the Macau GP rider ranks and went onto finish an impressive fourth from the sole eight-lap Guia Circuit race stint.
Unquestionably Switzerland’s most prominent pure road racer of recent times, he won’t be Manx shores bound for TT 2023.
Whilst the TT isn’t on his radar the FonaCAB/Nicholl Oils North West 200 remains firmly.
Pending the event taking place, still question marks due to on-going insurance issues, Maurer as across IRRC outings is Kawasaki powered for circulation around the much-loved Triangle course.
