By Between them 50 times race winners at the FonaCAB/Nicholl Oils North West 200, the TAS Racing run Synetiq BMW team have re-signed event wins record holder Alastair Seeley for Superstock competition around the Triangle.
Many of the ‘Wee Wizard’ finest NW200 moments have arose with the TAS squad, including feature Superbike successes in 2010 and 2012.
In addition to NW200 action (pending event taking place), the Carrickfergus ace will also this year be tackling the full National Superstock 1000 Championship.
Commenting recently, Seeley who’s Superstock M1000RR BMW steed, was revealed to the public at last night’s ‘Meet the Stars’ event, stated:
“It’s a dream come true for me to back in the British Superbike paddock and at the North West 200 with TAS Racing.
I have so many great memories with the team. We’ve had a lot of success together and to get the change to ride the new BMW M RR in Synetiq BMW colours has me really buzzing.
I won a few titles last season on the Irish scene then proved I still have it at international level with a hat-trick at the NW200. So, this opportunity couldn’t have come at a better time.”
Still on the lookout for suitable machinery to cover the Supersport, Superbike NW200 classes, Seeley added:
“At the minute the Superstock deal with Philip and Hector is all I have for the North West 200, so I have to thank Philip and Hector Neill for this opportunity.”
