Mark Goodings Planning For 2015 Road Racing Season

Mark Goodings is planning for the 2015 road racing season. 2014 has seen Mark have a consistent year of road racing which has included recording many a notable result around Oliver’s Mount.

Action around the mount for him this year began at the Ian Watson spring cup road races where he achieved highly respectable ninth place finish in opening superbike race.

Barry Sheene road race festival would prove to be highly productive as 7th and 6th place finishes where secured in supersport races following accomplished performances on IPG racing ZX6 Kawasaki. These results where backed up by impressive fifth position in second modern senior race.

Arguably the main highlight of the season for Mark was at the Aberdare park road races as he finished second in the Welsh open narrowly missing out on overall victory. Still securing second place finish was a major notable result, another highlight this year was ninth position in solo championship at the Southern 100.

Back at Oliver’s Mount the cock of the north road races saw more good results achieved which included 5th position in opening supersport race, whilst the superbike races would see two seventh place finishes acquired as Mark proved he was improving all the time in the big bike races.

Dundrod 150 challenge race saw another highly respectable result chalked up as he clinched 10th position whilst main highlights of the prestigious Scarborough gold cup included seventh position in second superbike race finishing leading Kawasaki mounted rider.

Whilst finishing in ninth in feature race the Steve Henshaw international gold cup ended his 2014 road racing season in hugely creditable style.

Looking to 2015 Mark is planning to return to the Southern 100 and Ulster Grand Prix. Plus the rider who will be ZX10 and ZX6 Kawasaki mounted next year is aiming to compete for the first time at the North West 200.
