Manx Grand Prix 2014 – Friday Practice Junior/Senior News

Andy Lawson powered his way to the top of the time sheets during Friday nights junior Manx Grand Prix practice session.

Andy competing on Moto design backed GSX-R 600 Suzuki produced lap speed of 116.729 mph as Michael Moulai impressive MGP continues going second quickest lapping at 115.469 mph.

James Neesom was third quickest tonight on Centurion windows backed ZX6 Kawasaki, Dean Roberts who has been in good form this week, Rob Hodson and Andy Farrell rounded out top six.

Glenn Harrison lapped at over 113 mph tonight to prove that he is a dark horse for a standout result in junior Manx Grand Prix race on Wednesday.

Andy Soar led the way in senior Manx Grand Prix practice tonight following lap speed of 116.927 mph the fastest lap speed of practice week so far in senior class by a 750 or above mounted rider. Andy Farrell recorded a highly creditable lap speed of over 114.4 mph whilst Andy Fenton completed top three with lap speed of 112.380 mph.

Jules Croft’s return to the mountain course continues to go well as the experienced competitor around the most famous road race circuit in the world lapped at 108.478 mph to go fifth fastest whilst Dennis Booth at over 110.4 mph finished fourth fastest and Gavin Lupton lapped at over 107.5 mph to secure top six position in practice overall tonight.
