Two times Lightweight TT winner, three times an Ulster GP winner, 2014 Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup Champion, modern era road racing hero Ivan Lintin is next to take part in Road Racing News rising in popularity, Manx GP Top 6 series.

Multi times an MGP podium finisher, lead 750 mounted competitor in the blue riband Senior encounter from 2010, his answers to the Mountain Course themed set of questions are as follows:

Q1: When you first competed at the Manx, what was your first initial thought of the Mountain Course?

“From what I could remember, whenever you went round the TT course you could never do the perfect lap so then you get drawn into do another to become better and faster. Following the first year I had to just go back to better myself.”

Q2: Most memorable Manx GP bike?

“Best bike I ever rode round there was from my first year, Billy Mckinstry’s TZ 250 (Yamaha). A proper race bike not like bikes we race nowadays.”

Q3: Most treasured memory from the Manx?

“Finishing 3rd in the Senior (2010), a result I felt was good enough to step up to TT.”

Q4: Is there one specific Manx GP competitor that you look up to?

“I never really had any competitor which I looked up to. The early races was always the challenge of doing the event and doing it as well as you could do.”

Q5: Describe the Manx GP in one word?

“Awesome”

Q6: Finally, if you could race one machine from any series, championship around the Mountain Course, what would it be?

“I think to ride a Moto GP bike would be awesome to be honest. To ride proper race bikes round there was always good.”
