Lead Yamaha mounted competitor within the most recent Junior MGP, Kettering’s Andrew Fisher is the latest racer to take part in Road Racing News rising in popularity, Manx GP Top 6 series.
A top three finisher at the 68th Gold Cup meeting at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough, his answers to the Mountain Course themed set of questions are as follows:
Q1: When you first competed at the Manx, what was your first initial thought of the Mountain Course?
“I can’t believe I’m doing this!”
Q2: Most memorable Manx GP bike?
“For me it’s gotta be my own R6 (Yamaha), as she’s carried me through three Manx GP’s now! We’ve been through a lot together.”
Q3: Most treasured memory from the Manx?
“Doing a 120 mph lap in practice!”

“Matt Stevenson for the incredible mullet as well as winning the Senior in 2018 after crashing in the Junior!”
Q5: Describe the Manx GP in one word?
“Holiday!”
Q6: Finally, if you could race one machine from any series, championship around the Mountain Course, what would it be?
“Steve Hislop’s 2002 Monstermob Ducati BSB Championship winning bike.”
