British Supersport Championship points finisher James McLaren is a potential Mountain Course debutant this year, having been invited to take part in one of the Manx GP newcomer weekends.
One of Scotland’s most talented up coming two wheel competitors, McLaren’s excellent racing CV alongside BSB Supersport points finish at Knockhill also includes successive Scottish 400 Championship victories in 2017 and 2018.

Additionally a Jurby Endurance Champion, Knockhill Supersport Championship front runner, Supersport race winner at Bishopcourt, Kirkistown, his exploits have caught the eye of 2016 Junior Manx GP winner Andy Dudgeon.
Dudgeon who also triumphed within the Newcomers B Manx GP encounter of 2012, has made available his Junior MGP winning GSX-R 600 Suzuki from 2016 for McLaren to compete on in August, subject to his prospective entry being successful.
Others set to join rising talent McLaren on the Manx GP newcomers weekends (7th-8th March, 21st-22nd March) include Jamie Cringle, Dave Rigsby, Paul Cassidy and Peoples Bike Team’s Frankie Stennett.
