Wilmslow’s Sam West will for August’s Manx Grand Prix, RST Classic Superbike race, finally jockey Ducati apparatus around the fabled, mythical Mountain Course.
The former TT Privateers Championship runner-up had hoped to be Ducati mounted in last month’s Monster Energy Supersport races.
Instead, it’s the 2024 MGP that sees West make his roads scene Italian flair debut, aboard Ducati’s 916 model, notable for its World Superbike success.
As shown by Dean Harrison last year, James Hillier in 2019 yesteryear ‘Dukes’ despite having a reputation with some for lacklustre reliability, are potent when all clicks together.
Keen to exaggerate, the-most of the Ducati opportunity, pilot West’s next upcoming Mountain Course tenure sees him also aboard 350cc Honda tackle for the three-lap 2 Wheeling Classics Classic Junior race.
