Manx GP: Junior Race Seeds Revealed

Overseas heroes, event stalwarts, rising talents feature within the twenty seeded starters for this year’s Junior Manx Grand Prix.

Carrying the coveted No.1 plate is rostrum finisher last year, Marc Colvin.

Set to be astride the Dafabet Racing Kawasaki raced by Josh Brookes during TT 2023, he’s a definite one to watch.

Number two plate carrier, starting ten seconds in arrears to Colvin is class specialist, Manici Racing Team by VAS Engine’s Andrea Majola.

Highly adept around the fabled, mythical Mountain Course, Majola will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of last year’s race winner, fellow Italian, Paton pilot Francesco Curinga.

The Isle of Man’s sole IRRC exponent Jamie Williams holds the P3 plate whilst start numbers four, five have been assigned respectively to Team ILR with Frog Vehicle Developments Victor Lopez Santos and Castings Technology supported Dan Ingham.

Concluding the top ten starters are Jack Fowler, 2018 Newcomers B race winner Michael Rees and fitness permitting ‘Tommy Club’ member David McConnachy.

Plate numbers 11, 12, 13, 14 are held by Sidecar TT legend Dan Sayle, Jason Corcoran, father of Chasin the Racin podcast host Dominic Herbertson, Mark Herbertson and Eoin O’Siochru (Reactive Property Management).

Whilst 2019 Newcomers A race runner-up, Heattech Racing Yamaha mounted Sam Mousley, Morph Motorsport’s Alex Sinclair hold starting order numbers fifteen and sixteen.

Remaining top twenty Junior race starters are Alun Brooks, No Limits Racing Super Twins Champion elect Lewis Arrowsmith, FB Racing’s Daniel Forbes and Andy Lovett.
