Details have been released around the special parade-lap, that will feature during next month’s 100th Anniversary Manx Grand Prix.
Titled ‘Made at The Manx Grand Prix’, the parade-lap, is set to commence on the 26th of August with a proposed start-time of 3:00 PM.
17 racers who opened their Mountain Course racing careers at the MGP and have gone onto notch up 255 TT podium finishes are celebrated within the demonstration lap.
MGP to TT icons being acknowledged are Harold Daniell, Freddie Frith, Cecil Sandford, the first racer to crack the 100-mph lap barrier, Bob McIntyre.
Five times World Champion Geoff Duke, eight times TT winner Phil Read, Charlie Williams, Mick Grant.
Rob McElnea, twice Formula 2 World Champion Brian Reid, Steve Hislop, Wales most successful TT exponent Ian Lougher.
Robert Dunlop, seven times World Champion Carl Fogarty MBE, Phillip McCallen and 21st Century TT stars Ian Hutchinson, Michael Dunlop.
Further details about the ‘Made at The Manx Grand Prix’ spectacle, covering machines, riders taking part, are due to be disclosed in the near future.
