New adventures, new challenges define those who compete on the roads.
In Paul Magnay’s case, alongside venturing back to Armoy he is all set to compete for the first time at the ‘Friendly Races’, the Southern 100.
A top three finisher last year at Aberdare Park, Magpie Racing’s Magnay stated when asked about his upcoming maiden Billown course tenure:
“It has long been on my bucket list to race at the Southern 100 races after years of being a spectator.
I can only compare the feeling when my entry confirmation came through the door to winning the lottery (also on my bucket list!).”
Additionally looking ahead to the aforementioned Armoy Road Races, Magnay who made his real roads debut last May at Oliver’s Mount Scarborough, stated:
“I really enjoyed all the road races I entered last year but Armoy stood out from the rest, the atmosphere and spectators are just electric and the track itself is absolutely awesome.
I can’t wait to get back between the hedges. We are a two-bike team this season with a Kawasaki Z650 and Honda CBR600 RR.
Thanks to all our sponsors who make it possible and the team for all their hard work.”
