As the 2023 roads season, gradually moves closer and closer to beginning, racers across all backgrounds are stepping up their pre-season preparations.
It’s no different for former top three finisher at Aberdare Park, Paul Magnay.
Set to race again under his own team’s Magpie Racing banner, his 2023 plans include returning to the ‘Friendly Races’ the Southern 100, taking in selected Irish roads events including the Ulster Grand Prix.
Alongside the aforementioned, Magnay has also recently stated about sampling all Oliver’s Mount, meetings, the Bob Smith Spring Cup, Barry Sheene Classic, Cock O’The North and 71st Scarborough Gold Cup.
A triple top ten finisher from the support class races at last September’s Gold Cup, he’s steadily over recent times chipped away with his pace, application at England’s only, current active real roads course.
