By Liverpool’s Stephen Smith has confirmed that his lengthy 2019 racing itinerary, which is set to begin in April at Cadwell Park, will include a fifth Manx Grand Prix campaign.
A Mountain Course debutant in 2013, he’s since developed into an accomplished, extremely proficient exponent of the legendary, mythical, fabled 37 and three quarter miles long circuit.
Last years Manx GP saw Smith impress and some aboard his own teams GSX-R 600 Suzuki, on route to claiming excellent 6th, 9th place finishes within the four lap Junior, Senior races.

Hugely looking forward to returning to Manx shores in August, his latest Manx GP tenure sees him once again pilot his trusty GSX-R 600 Suzuki steed, which as in recent times will run again under his own teams Slipps Racing banner.
Outside of the Manx GP, this August is also set to see him delve into Classic TT competition for the first time, piloting a still to be officially confirmed Kevin Liddle backed mount.
Speaking via his Facebook racing page about his prospective maiden Classic TT expedition, he stated:
“I’ve been given an amazing opportunity by Kevin Liddle to ride one of my dream bikes around the TT course. Words cannot express how excited I am for this and I can’t thank Kev, Shaun and the rest of the team for this opportunity.”
