Lee Munro is aiming to follow in the footsteps of his great uncle Burt Munro under 1,000 cc land speed record holder at Bonneville Salt Flats, in achieving unique feats in the world of motorcycling.
This year is set to see him make his Manx Grand Prix debut. Lee has already shown his pure road racing prowess in 2015 at the Greymouth street race, securing victory in the BEAR’s race.
For his mountain course debut he’s backed by Street Evolution Motorcycles, Two Wheelers School Of Motorcycling and Gsauce.
Lee is without a doubt one of the most high profile newcomers to the most famous road racing circuit in the world, in 2016.
He’s planning in 2017 following the Manx, to compete for the first time at the Isle of Man TT.
It’s going to be a unique moment on the Isle of Man in August this year as Lee Munro tackles the iconic mountain course, evoking memories of his great uncle Burt’s legendary adventure to America in 1967, as seen in the film, The World’s Fastest Indian.
