Lee Johnston Eyeing Up TT Wins In 2015

Lee Johnston is eyeing up TT wins in 2015. Lee who made his mountain course debut back in 2012 is aiming for his first win on the most famous road race circuit in the world which would make him part of a select group of riders to have won at the North West 200, Ulster Grand Prix and Isle of Man TT.

This years TT saw Lee impress hugely in superstock race securing fifth place finish on East Coast racing CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade, plus the rider nicknamed general Lee was second Honda mounted rider home in the race. Supersport TT race 1 saw top ten finish secured whilst superbike race would see 13th position acquired.

Arguably Lee’s most impressive series of results at an international road race this year came in action at Dundrod 150/2014 Ulster Grand Prix. Victory in Dundrod 150 super twins race following a supreme performance on East Coast racing ER6 Kawasaki was the perfect way to start race action around the worlds fastest road race circuit whilst the superbike race provided him with highly creditable top five placing.

Onto race day at the Ulster Grand Prix where following a tenacious display Lee achieved great second place finish in opening supersport race. Feature superbike saw third position secured having battled throughout with Bruce Anstey and Guy Martin for race victory, Lee Johnston has gone up a level in 2014 winning three international road races, securing personal best finish around the mountain course and proving that soon in the future he has huge potential to achieve his ambition of becoming a TT winner.
